Nairobi – Naivasha – Hell’s Gate National Park

Accommodation: Lake Naivasha

Sopa Lodge

Morning: Breakfast and Transfer to Naivasha

At 7:00 AM you will meet our representative at your hotel/airport for a quick tour briefing, then begin your scenic transfer to Naivasha.

Mid-Morning: Stop at Mai Mahiu Escarpments

On the way, we’ll stop at the Mai Mahiu Escarpments for breathtaking pictures and views of the Great Rift Valley Volcano.

Noon: Arrival at Lake Naivasha Lodge/Camp

Arrive at Lake Naivasha Lodge/Camp for check-in and a relaxing lunch to recharge for the afternoon.

Afternoon: Transfer to Hell’s Gate National Park

At 2:30 PM, we’ll depart the lodge for Hell’s Gate National Park. The park is one of the few in Kenya that is accessible by mountain bike, with the option to explore on foot or by tour van.

Late Afternoon: Guided Walk at the Gorge

After 8 kilometers of exploring, we’ll park our bikes/vehicle at the rangers’ post and enjoy a guided walk through the gorge.

Evening: Return to Lodge for Dinner

We’ll return to the lodge/camp by 6:30 PM for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Naivasha Boat Safari – Lake Nakuru National Park

Accommodation: Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge (Breakfast)

6:15 AM – Lake Naivasha Boat Safari

Start your day with a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, the second largest freshwater lake in Kenya. As you enjoy a warm cup of coffee, take in the morning sunrise, bird watching, and the stunning scenery. Lake Naivasha is home to over 300 bird species and hundreds of hippo families, with high chances of spotting hippos grazing or baby hippos resting on their mother’s back. The tour will last for 1.5 hours, after which we’ll head back to your lodge for a main breakfast.

9:00 AM – Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, check out and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. The park is a birdwatcher’s paradise, home to millions of flamingos and four of the Big Five: lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffaloes.

Noon – Arrival and Check-In at Your Camp

Upon arrival at the park, check-in at your tented camp in Nakuru and enjoy a delicious lunch.

3:00 PM – Game Drive and Wildlife Viewing

At 3:00 PM, start your game drive for an exciting wildlife experience. You’ll drive towards the lake for some fantastic bird watching, and keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife that calls the park home.

Evening – Return to Camp for Dinner and Overnight Stay

In the evening, return to your camp for a well-deserved dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s adventures.

Nakuru – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Morning – Departure for Maasai Mara

After breakfast, check out from your camp and head towards Maasai Mara National Reserve. En route, we will stop at Narok town around noon for a delicious lunch.

Noon – Arrival and Check-in at Mara Enkorok

Arrive at Maasai Mara and check in at  Mara Enkorok Get ready to experience one of the most iconic wildlife reserves in the world.

Afternoon – Maasai Mara National Reserve

Maasai Mara is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World due to the remarkable wildebeest migration, which occurs annually between July and late September. The reserve is home to over 90 species of mammals, including all of the Big Five and around 500 bird species.

3:30 PM – Game Drive

At 3:30 PM, depart your lodge for an exciting game drive. This is the best time to spot wildlife such as zebras, gazelles, giraffes, and warthogs. The reserve is known for its hunting cats, and there’s a high chance of witnessing predators in action during this time of day.

Evening – Return to Lodge for Dinner and Overnight Stay

After your game drive, return to Mara Enkorok in the evening for a hearty dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, reflecting on the day’s wildlife experiences.

Maasai Mara Full Experience

Morning – Balloon Ride or Game Drive

On Day 4, you have two exciting options for the morning. You can opt for an early morning hot air balloon ride for a breathtaking aerial view of Maasai Mara, or you can go on a game drive to search for any animals you might have missed the previous day.

Lunch – Picnic Break

Regardless of your morning activity, we will stop at a scenic picnic site for a packed lunch.

Afternoon – Continue Game Viewing

After your lunch break, we’ll continue our game viewing adventure. This is a great opportunity to explore new areas of the park and spot wildlife that you haven’t encountered yet.

4:00 PM – Return to Lodge

At 4:00 PM, we will head back to your lodge for a refreshing shower, followed by some time to relax before dinner.

Evening – Dinner and Overnight Stay

Enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge and relax in preparation for the next day’s activities. You’ll spend the night at the lodge, reflecting on your adventurous day.

Maasai Mara – Nairobi

Accommodation: Mara Enkorok (Breakfast)

 

Morning – Check Out and Visit Maasai Village

After breakfast, we will check out from your lodge and start our journey back to Nairobi. Along the way, you’ll have the option to visit a Maasai Village, where elders will welcome you into their homes with a traditional Maasai dance. It’s a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture.

Maasai Market Visit

Following your visit to the village, we will head to the Maasai Market where local Maasai women craft and sell beautiful ornaments and handmade goods. This is a great chance to purchase unique souvenirs at affordable prices.

Lunch – Narok Town

We will enjoy lunch in Narok Town before continuing our journey to Nairobi.

Afternoon – Arrival in Nairobi

After lunch, we’ll continue our journey to Nairobi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
