The Maasai Mara National Reserve — 1,510 km² of protected golden savannah, rolling hills and acacia woodlands along the Tanzanian border — is the northern tip of the Serengeti–Mara ecosystem and Africa’s most iconic wildlife stage.

Between July and October the Great Wildebeest Migration turns the Mara River into a life-or-death spectacle: thousands of wildebeest and zebra thunder across crocodile-filled water. Expect Big Five sightings, packs of predators on active hunts, and sundowners under acacia trees.

You travel in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof and stay in a comfortable mid-range tented camp with en-suite bathrooms and hot showers.
