This premium day package is specially curated for families travelling with young children and toddlers (ages 3+). Lake Naivasha and its surrounding sanctuaries offer a rare opportunity in Kenya where children can safely experience African wildlife up close without being confined to a vehicle all day. The adventure begins with a private boat cruise across the calm waters of Lake Naivasha to spot wallowing hippos and African fish eagles. Families then land on Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a gentle walking safari. Because there are no large predators on the island, toddlers can safely walk alongside giraffes, zebras and waterbucks.

Fitness level is very easy — completely flat, well-maintained grass and dirt trails at a leisurely pace. Not suitable for standard strollers (patches of loose soil and tall grass); baby carriers or hiking backpacks are highly recommended.
